Tickets for the Vaporetto (waterbuses) can be bought at the waterbus stops at Piazzale Roma, Rialto and at Piazza San Marco.
The cost for a one-way ride is € 6.50 per person.

By Plane: The Marco Polo Airport is located 12 km overland land and 10 km over water from Venice and is well connected to the city by public transportation lines (water and land) and to the rail station in Mestre.
The slip road opened in 1991 connects the Marco Polo airport directly to the roadway network. The airport serves the entire tri-region of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige.

Treviso Airport is 3 km from the town centre on the trunk road SS 515 in the direction of Padova – near the by-pass SS53, which connects Treviso to the main motorways in just a few minutes.

By Car: Getting to Venice by car is easy: the directions to reach the city are clearly marked with road signs.

The only vehicle access road to Venice, the Ponte della Libertà, is a straight road 4 km. long with two lanes in each direction, where the speed limits are clearly indicated. Always observe the speed limits posted, never stop on the bridge and always be careful when driving.
Parking areas in Venice are located in Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto. However, during peak tourist season, it is best to park in the mainland area of Venice.

By Train: After crossing the bridge that spans the lagoon, the train next comes to the Santa Lucia Station of Venice.
